I just purchased a weedless prop for my 74 Johnson 25 horse. I've seen lots of weedless props for 3 and 4 horses etc... but nothing as big as a 25 horse. Normally I would just take the boat out and test it but I'm not going to have a chance to test it before I use it next on a fairly weedy lake so I have a few questions.

Here is the prop

Are these effective as being weedless props even though my gear case doesn't point down 20 degrees like the smaller hp weedless motors?

Will I notice a change in performance at all such as getting on plane, top speed or rpm's at wot?
