Water in the field

I've tried a lot of different methods, and I still come back to water bottles. My favorite are the Gatorade bottles with the orange twist tops. They are sturdy, cheap, and you can pack a couple out to the field. If you lose one, you're out $2. No biggie. I have a game vest with two water bottle pockets that I always keep filled. If I need water because it's hot, I bring a camelback. Otherwise I wait until I get back to the truck. Keeping the dogs hydrated is more important than myself, apparently grin

I've tried a lot and also go back to water bottles. I trained my dogs to drink out of them by putting peanut butter on the end of the squirt style so they'd drink out of them more easily. Once the learn then it's real easy.

I just bought a soft sided dog bowl. It breaks down super easy and I won't pour out half the water onto the ground. Thanks for the input guys, I guess I am always looking for a better way.

Water bottles and a zip lock sandwich bag. Drinking straight from the bottle results in lots of wasted water meaning you have to carry more. I pour tje water into the bag and use it like a bowl. It means I don't have to drink from the same bottle that the dogs have been drinking from and less water is wasted. Weighs nothing as well.
