Guest
Is there a need for a speed limit on atvs. it seems over the past years everything has become bigger and faster without improvement in safty features. the new yamaha raptor 660 does 89 miles out the box!!!! wonder what it would do with performance parts. does somone need to be killed before their is limit in place. it always seems the laws are behind the time. their is a spped limit on snowmobiles in minnesota. just asking
MNice
There are speed limits for cars also, but does that stop the idiots from endangering their lives and others from driving 80 & 90. NO. Not until all these laws are acually enforced will any speed limit help save lives. Those who want to live on the edge will always take risks limit or not. Guest
Why would any manufacturer put a speed limitting device on its ATVs? Wait a minute, there is one on every ATV. It has a little screw which you could screw in to limit the gas output. It sits on the right hand handlebar.
