Mower blade adapter pins sheared

you need a new adapter, the sheared pins indicate that the blade struck something and sheared the pin saving damage to the motor. Without the pin the blade can spin on the crank shaft and stop in heavy cutting areas or worse come off and cause other damage. Take you mower model number to a small engine shop or garden center and get a new adapter for in the neighborhood of $10, replaced two this summer on the push mower that the wife uses as she just pushes it into everything that has a weed growing out of it.
