Mercury 90hp 4-stroke

I have a 2012 Mercury 90hp 4 stroke. A couple times this year going across the lake it beeped once then stalled for a second then goes again then everything is fine. It didn't do it last year at all and it has probably happened 3 or 4 times this year. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

What's your rpm' s at maybe you are over rev the motor

They have a rev limiter on them

It's under warranty bring it in

At WOT its at about 6000 so I don't believe that is it. I do have a 5 year warranty and will bring it in. Just thought maybe someone here knew what the problem was before I brought it in.

I have same motor But without any problems

I called the dealer today and talked to a service tec. He figured I have a bad connection or loose battery cable. I will have to check it out when I get home. Hopefully that is problem.

I ended up bringing the boat into a dealer. It ended up being a bad ECU sounds like its the computer.
