Anybody stirring any fish on Mille Lacs ? We are coming up for a week next Saturday and could use some advice on what the fish seem to be interested in biting.

Thanks in advance!

I'll be up Monday to Friday so I'll have a good report for you by the end of the week. I plan on fishing key times every day. Hopefully the blade bit will kick in. Feel free to pm me and I'll give you contact info so you could check in if you would like.

Travis.

Fished muskys all week without a follow. Saw some fish just swimming around. The best reports I heard were coming out of isle bay in the thick cabbage. Vineland in the main weed beads. Caught lots of pike but that's not what were after. I did see a boat have the musky net out twice this morning and heard a lot of happy chatter coming from the boat. Well off to mantrap. Good luck out there. So I was not much help. The guys are saying hair Bucktails are moving the fish.

We were up all last week. No fish in the boat. We had six legitimate follows with one hot and heavy on a figure eight but they just wouldn't go..... All fish pulled up on some type of blade - bucktail, spinnerbait, hot head. Nicest fish in Isle bay. Lots of northern with no size.
