I have a LMS 480 mounted on my trolling motor with a large hose clamp. The unit will work great most of the time but will eventually read that it is only a few feet deep until I turn the unit off and back on. Is this likely the transducer or the way it is mounted......? I have an extra transducer from a color unit 522C I believe. I have not checked the connections yet but does anyone know the comparability of transducers between units.

Nice to finally meet you tonight. Make sure you tell me who you are again next time you come in. I will probably forget.
Let me know when you are dropping in again and I'll make sure we have more of those beverages around!
This northern boy needs a little help with this one.

Cool lighting in a forest that’s so different from ours?
I’ve never been in the AR woods before but you’ve arrived by the looks of it.
Good luck.
