Tim Moore
I headed out a few days ago in search of tasty winter flounder. This time I had the GoPro and got some good footage. I was drifting a local harbor in my kayak using just a two hook flounder rig. The wind was a bit fast and I was forced to size up from a 1 oz. to a 2 oz. weight. The new Jason Mitchell Pro Series Walleye rod is literally the best rod I have ever come across for flounder. It has just the right amount of sensitivity to hook light-biting flounder. I decided to turn it into one of my video journals.
Tim Moore
I headed out with a kayak fishing client yesterday. The bite was insane. We managed eight keepers in under four hours. We were drifting sea worms on Zing flounder rigs. I paint my sinkers yellow and pink to make them more visible and it really makes a difference. The biggest was 18".
