MJBaldwin
I have been looking for a tin boat for awhile now but myProblem is I want a deeper hull so I can go out even when it's a little windy. I found a 1982 14' fish hawk that I don't mind it has a 35 hp on the back I'm wondering if anyone has this I can't upload a picture cuz I'm on my phone but will upload a pic tomorrow. Keep in mind this is my first boat grew up with my grandpas 14' and that was always fine but that's no longer with me unjust likes the depth of that boat and want to make sure this would be similar. Thanks! graf703
I have a friend with the lund 'deep and wide 14'. I would feel comfortable on windy days in it. A lot of it depends on comfort and the lake you're on. I ran across voyageuers (large open water) in 2.5-3 ft waves in one of the shallowest 14' alumacrafts with a 15 horse and 3 200 lb males. We got wet and shook up but it worked.I prefer the bare hull and I think the fish hawk has a finished interior. What's the price on it? My dad has a '96 167 princecraft with a 70 horse and we have had trouble moving it for $3500. Boat values get kind of screwy on older models.
