Firearms Deer Season Dates 2014

What will be the opening date for 100 Series Firearms deer season in 2014?

I can't make it in 2013, so I'm planning for 2014 already.

What are the stipulations for the date of the opener? It's something along the lines of "the first Saturday in November, but will never land on the 1st"...or something along those lines. I never remember how it works in MN.

11/09/13 - 11/17/13 Deer Hunt - Firearm season-2A and 3A

2014.....November 8th

11/09/13 - 11/24/13 Deer Hunt - Firearm season-1A

2014......November 8th

11/23/13 - 12/01/13 Deer Hunt - Firearm season-3B

2014.....November 22nd

11/30/13 - 12/15/13 Deer Hunt - Muzzleloader season

2014.....November 29th

I believe the formula to set the opening date is:

The closest Sat to the the 6th of Nov., but not later than the 9th and not earlier than the 2nd.

And those dates will only be the most probable unless....the legsilature or DNR make some changes....like opening season on Friday!
