Trax tech system

Any one use the Trax Tech mounting systems on their boat? Thinking of putting one rail on each side of my boat and mounting downriggers and rod holders. Any problems, thoughts on the product?

i have traxtech track on my boat. very solid, with alot of options. not real cheap, but worth it

Great mounting system and it allows you to move holders and riggers around on your boat. Rugged and flexible to accommodate the holders and riggers. I haven't heard anything bad about it but you may want to post in the Duluth forum and the Great lakes/salmon forums for more feedback.

I have 24" Traxtech's in my boat. They work great!!! Make sure to put backing under the gunnel for added strength. I was given great advice from End of the Line and that was to use composite decking for backing. I will run 4 dipsy divers with all of them running the mag rings with no problems and that's with a 10'6" pole in aluminum tube rod holder.
