canoe repair?

Recommended Posts

A marine specific kit would. Otherwise you would have to clear coat the patch so it wouldn't absorb water. Otherwise call the guys up at northwest canoe. They also have a HSOforum. I've used them and they are helpful in directing you to solutions. They also do work in house but this is their peak time so it would probably take awhile.

I wouldn't sweat it. Fiberglass canoes traditionally aren't the best. I have had canoes made in all materials and fiberglass probably had the most drawbacks. Save your money-and wait for an aluminum or royalex boat to pop on one of the lists or if your lucky a kevlar canoe. If you really want to just get out and fish and own a truck small jon boats are pretty cheap too sometimes-even new.
