Nainoa
This year I'm trying something new in my "Early Slicer" spot... In the past for my Early slicer, I've grown Russian Black Krim tomatoes... Makes a purple and green tomato with a lot of flavor. But it seems like it goes from "Starting to ripen" to "Over Ripe" too fast. And they are very weak when it comes to Early Blight resistance. So this year I'm going to try growing 4-5 Abe Lincoln plants. They're supposed to be early ripening, and have good Blight Resistance. For my late slicer, Brandywine as usual... Can't beat that for flavor on a BLT.Then some black cherries and rosalita grapes. My home bred Yellow tomato I named "Pony Boy" (Because it always stays golden) and makes golfball sized tomatoes. The other 25 plants are two different types of San Marzano... going to have them compete this year on yeild and flavor and pick which one goes on to the 2014 rotation.
