has anyone used the "shock master" pedestal, looking to upgrade to some

type of air ride pedestal

I was looking at purchasing one of these to replace the Springfield post that locked up in my boat last year.

I dont personally know anyone that has used them, so I contacted the company on multiple occasions to get some answers to a few questions I had and did not get a response back.

They look great in the videos I have seen and I chatted back and forth with a guy (I believe the brother of the owner) who uses them and says they are great, but I want someone who isnt attached to the company at all to provide some feedback.

They seem like a great design and from what I read the parts are easily changed and many of them may be available at a local auto parts store (springs, etc).

I just have concerns doing business with someone who doesnt have the time to respond to a few simple questions and how they would be should a problem ever arise.

Yeah, its a real spine tingler!! LOL

I removed it and tried to figure out a way to release it, but no worky.
