Alternator wiring help

Recommended Posts

I have a motorola alternator on a skidsteer with a ford 4cyl that i am rebuilding after a fire. I obviously have none of the original wiring harness and the schematics that i have all show an externaly regulated alternator. Does anyone know which terminals are which on this? the number stamped on the case is RA12N451D

The stud on the left of the regulator has a red wire going to the regulator

The stud on the right of the regulator has a black wire going to the regulator with no resistance to the case of the alternator

The larger stud directly below the regulator i am assuming is the batt terminal

If anyone has any help it would be greatly appreciated!
