Marcum LX6

What are the thoughts on this model. Pluses, minsus likes and dislikes. I just found one in the Cabelas bargin cave for a heck of a deal and picked it up. Anything I should know about this unit. What are the expierences with it

I'd upgrade to latest firmware if it doesn't already have it. I like mine a lot.

I remember my first time I felt the same, When i got home I actually put it on line for sale.

Took it out the next time and played around with the settings and was totally happy.

We dont know what software version your on or whether you have done the upgrade. No one is going to be happy with 3.01 software on an LX6.

Second of all you need to learn the curves of what an LX6 or 7 can give you versus the mechanical Marcum such as an LX5. Fishing different depths, bodies of water, structure, are going to be vital in ones decision as well as knowing to use the flasher itself properly.

The LX6 > LX5 without a doubt due to the features...
