how would you go about training your dog to flush birds?

Well first you need birds. How old is the dog, Puppy, older dog? What breed is it? If it's a puppy we give them live birds (wing clipped pigeons) to chase and catch at around 6 to 8 weeks to develop prey drive, same would go for an older dog. Lots of good training videos out there, it's hard to explain a 6 to 12 month training program over the internet.
