I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a place I could get a software update for my gen 1 HDS 5x. Since the HDS5x doesn't have a SD card slot, I can't get the software update. I know that I could get the update if I had the network cable and another unit with a SD card slot, but I don't have the network cable and I have a Gen 2 HDS8 and I heard the gen 1 and gen 2 software are different. I was hoping some fishing shop or something might do it for a fee. Thanks for any advice.
