Lakers through the Ice (video)

I got into my first ever Lake Trout through the ice on Feb. 2nd. It was a blast catching these fish out of 80ft of water.

Thanks guys, it was a lot of fun. I was hoping to get into some of the bigger class of Lakers that are there but I'll take the 16"-20" class on my first time out. And yeah, the weather has been really nice here. Two weeks ago I was ice fishing in 61 degree weather, that was just plain wrong. I'd say the average for the last few weeks during the day is in the 40's and 50's and drops just below freezing most nights.

I used to live in Victor, and wanted to hit some of those lakers in the mountain reservoirs but never got a chance.

Great video...I've always wanted to get out and chase some lakers up in the BWCA. Seeing a few more videos like that might just get me up there.
