fisherman-andy
Im not sure if it would be worth the time or effort as this was such a low cost hub. The one my cousin has practically degraded and fell apart just from storage. But a little digging finds AP Outdoors was bought out by Rapala?Try Glens Outdoors for the replacement part or poles. The Black Ice hub should be the same as Glen's Hubs or Xtreme Hubs. I dont think any of these hubs are still be manufactured. So parts will be scarce at best. Might just be a better idea to buy a new hub. I saw Joe's selling Eskimo Quickfish i3 hubs (insulated) for $150 last week.
minnow_03
Well, I gave up looking for a replacement pole as they are no longer manufactured, but didn't want to throw away the shack for one broken pole. But, I found a fix for $1.49 and some glue I had around.Steps1. Cut off the existing pole at the end with the ball (used dremel with a cutoff tool)2. Drill the pole out of the ball with a 3/8" drill3. Buy a 3/8" fiberglass fence post at your local farm supply store (I got it at Runnings)4. Glue the new pole into the ball5. Cut it to length and install in the hub.
