Trolling 101 Preface

In my series of trolling articles I will be mentioning lots of different manufactures equipment. While I do have some personal relationships within the fishing industry the pieces I mention are truly what I believe to the best for the situation.

As a reminder, just because I do it certain way dosen't make it the right way!

Crank baits and spinner rigs. For you guys that like to troll what are some of your faverate baits that you use? Brands, size, color pattern?

I use alot of Berkley Flicker Shads, not because they are better than the Rapala Shad Raps, but because they are half price. I also use a fair amount of Reef Runners but I'm a crank junkie.

#7 seems to be the most used shad style bait by me, but I will switch it up to smaller baits with leadcore when needed, and the #9 baits in the fall when the natural forage is bigger.

For color it's hard not to have a selection of firetiger, white and perch in he arsenal. Purple is also used by me.
