I'm looking at getting a female springer spaniel pup. It would primarily be a family dog, but I would train it to hunt as well. Does anybody know a good place near the metro to inquire? I would like to get the pup around Apri/May time frame if any of you have some good pups.

Got my female from a gal who is/was a private breeder up between Elk River and Zimmerman. Not sure if she's around anymore but I couldn't be happier with the dog. 4 years old and a Pheasant huntin fool, also a wonderful family dog..don't think I'll ever have a better dog.

One thing for sure, I will have seen him run.
