Good as new, but you'll pay a little more than on the used market for that security.

I bought an FL-8 reman this year. Looks brand new, works flawlessly. It's a little noisy but I've heard you can oil them somehow, haven't looked into it much though.

I bought a reconditioned FL-22 Ultra Pack this year and it work great! I also bought the extended 2 year warranty just for a little more piece of mind. Money well spent.
