N Hardy
I was wondering if anybody has been down in the Roch area to see if there is any more geese moving in there.
J.A.Say.Tree
More "migrators" have been pulling into town on a daily basis... actually I'm expecting to see quite an arrival tonight and tomorrow.. so much so I decided to take Friday off from work... will hunt them for the next 3 days. I'll give you a report Monday. If you're looking to hunt with a guide service, give Dean with Premier Flight a call at 1-888-FLIGHT4. J.A.Say.Tree
Definately ALOT more geese in town than last weekend. But right place at right time still plays out around Rochester. Some days they file out hard in one direction, then the next we only see a trickle here and there.Friday was a bust for the honkers... not much coming into the NW sector. Did manage a great evening cockbird hunt to end on a good note!We saw a ton of geese on Saturday morning (they flew early and steady) & managed some shooting and killing. Sunday saw minimal flight in the same location, compared to Sat., and very little interest in the spread or calling. The birds are here in fair numbers already.... now we just need them to keep coming in... clean up the refuge food... then a couple nasty snow days will bring on Hammer time!!!JA![This message has been edited by J.A.Say.Tree (edited 11-04-2002).]
