field hunting geese morning? or evening?

I was thinking about trying some putting some decoys out for geese this weekend? I've always gone out in the morning, but may not be able to make it out in the morning this weekend. Is it worth it to try in the evening or are the geese done feeding and heading back to the water?

When the weather turns cold the birds need to feed more often. They will usually feed morning and evening. If the birds are pressured you may not see them till after shooting hours unless the weather pushes them to the fields. Some of my better hunts have come in the evenings. Anytime you can get to the fields is a good time to be there!

Superfish, I'm hunting ducks in the fields in the PM and the geese are flying out to feed in the later afternoon hours.
