Aqua-Vu Cable

Hey,

I have an old Aqua-Vu model that's worked like a champ for years. Unfortunately, this past weekend the DC input cable snapped where it branches off at the positive and negative wires. So I'm unable to use the camera at all, seeing as I can't connect the wires to the battery.

Anyhow, I didn't see a replacement for sale on Aqua-Vu's HSOforum. And I've tried countless times to repair it. But it's irreparable at this point. Anyone know of where I might be able to pick up a replacement cable?

Think I saw an ad on craigsl for an Aqua-Vu that the screen quit working and he was selling the unit for (I think it was $40.00).

I just went on the "list" site and searched "aqua-vu", from non working cameras to parts....$20.00 and up.

What does the connector look like where it broke off?

I had a similar thing happen a year or so ago. Looked at the HSOforum, saw it, and ordered a replacement. It wasn't the right one and the item disappeared from the HSOforum. Called and sent photos, they sent another, but still not the right one. I gave up, b

ut, I can power it with an adaptor that goes from my battery to a power input on the front. Mine is old, and it is a Scout XL, I think.
