Anybody been down to north lake/hastings?

Has anyone hunted north lake lately? I was thinking about zipping out there tonight for a short hunt. I figure a few weeks into the season the pressure may have died down a little.

I have been hunting in Red Wing and I can always here shooting out there so they must be doing something. also I don't think there is to much pressure out there.

hardy thanks for the report. I was hutning a smaller lake just up from north lake, heard very few shots. Normaly you hear a pretty constant barrage of shooting. Of course i didn't see very many ducks there either. Sounds like few might a new migration coming through so I may have to try it again.

A co-worker spent Saturday and sunday down on North Lake and only got a few shots. Too sunny. Everyone would have been better off with a fishing pole in their hand rather than a gun!
