Here is my favorite you need fish,onions,3/4 c. sugar,2 1/2T salt,2T. pickling spice and vinegar.Fill qt. jar 3\4 full of fish and onions. Add sugar,salt and pickling spice. Fill jar with vinegar. Shake jar twice a day for 3 days. I put the pickling spice in a spice bag and wait at least five days before I eat the fish.It is the easiest recipe and tastes great.
