Esox_Magnum
Ok guys picked up a Keni this fall for cheap and so far it's working out except no way to seal it down.... Without a door is there anyway to stop some of the draft?
engfish
Two options: 1)Sell it for the same price you bought it for and get a Scout with a door on the front of it. or Bring a buddy when you go fishing and have him cover the windward side flap and the corner of the front flap of the house with snow and some of the slush from the holes you drill. Caution: Do not put any slush on the flaps if it is bitter cold. It can be very difficult to get it out of there if you let it freeze solidly. Been there and done that--but only once. Crappyfisherman
Had the same problem with my old Pro. no door.I tried tuckin the skirt in and banking from the inside. It didnt work very well. Also tried bolts with washers in the edge of the skirt about 6 " apart to weight it down, worked a little better. You could also zip tie some light chain along the edge of the skirt.Wish I was more help.Ended up ordering a replacement top with a door. Esox_Magnum
Might just trade it in for something with a door then, not fond of the draft once I'm on fish and want to camp....
Gillfisher
Ive used binder clips and lead weights already, normally I will pull the flap in and snow/slush it from the inside
Crappyfisherman
I also kicked around the idea of making a inner skirt like on a Otter out of a old plastic tarp and using shower rod hooks to hold it to the front pole and velcro to the sled.
