LX soft pack mod

I didn't like how my ff wouldn't sit level while carrying it around so i added another strap, this also keeps it from rocking back and forth while walking. Works great

How do you like the lx6 ? Does it tend to adjust depth when ice fishing in same hole. Ex. Reads 32ft then will jumpto 25ft for no reason ?

Yes, I took it to a alteration shop and she charged me $10.00

Did she have the strap material or did you take that to her as well? That is sure a sweet mod, my LX-7 dumped out of the soft bag last year and smacked down on the ice and didn't work after that of coarse. I took some small screws and attached the soft case to the base so it wont come out of it anymore. I do not like the handle on the original soft bag and this is the best mod I have seen to fix that. Thank you for sharing!!
