lispeej
With this cold snap, the ice is getting thicker as we speak, but I would like to take the wife and kids out somewhere to a local lake. Just trying to figure out one that is safe to be on as of this weekend. I'm willing to drive a couple of hours north of the twin cities if that is the preferred region to be in. Not looking for guides or resorts or anybody's hot spots. Just looking to do all the work myself with my own equipment. Just wondering if anyone has been out yet and what ice conditions are like out there? Just trying to figure out where in the state can I get out to this weekend.Thanks. muskiebayresort
We are a resort but you can bring all of your own equipment, stay a few nights it is affordable and a experience you will remember. We are only 6 hours from the city. We have 12 inches of ice and a variety of fishing.
