Guest
Last year I made some home made goose silhoutees out of 1/4" plywood. I am not totally pleased with the way the paint turned out. Does any one know if I would be better off using spray paint, or using a actual goose decoy painting kit from cabelas? If I use the kit should I prime the plywood first or just slap it on? Any sugguestions would be great.
Guest
If you spray paint USE A FLAT FINISH!!!I would recommend a decoy paint kit....go to Jennings Decoy Supply, it's only in St. Cloud

Ozzy169
Beleive it or not, flat black for the body and white on the cheek and a little on the rump. This is how I've had my deks painted already, and have had good results, Since my early days of goose hunting, I've up graded to brand name deks, which I swore I'd never spend that amount of money on. Have to keep up with the Jones. ------------------Get 'er done
