Wow, greenheads and honkers everywhere

Got back from walking the dog this afternoon on a small river that runs into the mississippi. All I can say is that there are ducks and geese everywhere, and there is way too long of time before next season. I keep thinking its spring and the ducks just turned around when they reached their wintering grounds. Southern hunters can probably shoot 'em up again as they fly north. Hopefully nobody here blinked, they may have missed winter.
