There's a good grouse dog article in the November issue of GunDog magazine. For reference the magazine cover has a GSP on it. The author of the article uses Jerry Kolter as his primary source of info. Jerry is a MN based dog trainer, coverdog trialer, and grouse guide who has probably forgotten more about grouse and pointing dogs than most of us will ever learn. On top of that Jerry is a real nice guy. It's a good article with good info and worth a read if you are at B&N in the near future.
