Here in Ely, MN we got about 10 inches of the white stuff. We're expecting another couple of inches tomorrow. Hopefully it won't ruin the ice on the lakes.

Ely Igloo Snowmobile Club will be doing Tomahawk Trail clearing on Saturday, Dec. 6. Anyone interested in helping, meet at the Ely Softball Field (trail head) at 8am. A crew will also be working from the North Shore Trail toward Ely at the same time.

If we can get the trail packed, and have the swamps freeze, we'll be in good condition to start grooming trails once they have been clear of any downfalls.
