WillCFish
Okay! Okay! I know I sounded pretty pathetic.
DonBo
Don't matter what you sound like to us, as long as you get the response. Just know, you probably could have got the same response from slamming your car door.
Gordie
They seem to respond to the goose calls too this time of year.
bigbucks
I heard gobbling one morning last week when I was out on one of my semi frequent, supposedly daily walks. Not sure why they gobble this time of year?
WillCFish
That is unusual. Probably Jakes or young of the year poults. I 've bow hunted since the late 1960's and never heard one gobble in the fall. Seen a lot of them dive under brush piles though. http://www.hotspotoutdoors.com/forum/images/icons/default/grin.gif
DonBo
I've heard and seen may toms gobble and strut in the fall. Not all that uncommon. They work on the pecking order of the flock year round.
WillCFish
I've seen lots of them with their head down and running the other way as fast as they could go. I know one time that one of them heard me click off the safety from quite a distance. http://www.hotspotoutdoors.com/forum/images/icons/default/crazy.gif
