Anyone else heading to WY for rifle opener Oct 1st?

Sounds like the drought, random fires, and last years winter kill have punished the goats & deer in NE Wyoming. My group is heading out at the end of Sept for our annual hunt, just curious if anyone else was going to be heading west to WY?

We are headed out on Oct 6 for a rifle elk hunt in the bighorns. Sounds like the drought is taking its toll with all the wildfires around. Another one was reported in the Bighorns just out of Buffalo. Talked to a few people out there, and it is bad, but the animals seem to be doing OK so far. Hopefully they have any easy winter, as there will not be a lot of feed on the wintering grounds.
