So my hub shattered on my Warrior trailer on the way back from the lake (10 miles) the other day. It's a dual axle trailer with the fail being on the rear axle w/o the brake drum. Unfortunatly the spindle got pretty tore up before I got stopped. Question is, will I need to replace the whole axle or is there a way to get the torison arm off and just replace that with a new spindle attatched? Little bummed out that the axles are welded to the frame on these things! Not very servicable from any aspect! Any advice?? (not looking for any lectures on packing my wheel bearings so this doesn't happen etc, etc, etc, hubs were full of fresh grease). Thanks in advance!!
