Who do you have for an Internet provider

I currently have century link and I want to switch Internet provider. Can you please let me know who you have so I can see if they provide service in my area (Elk River area).

If your looking for speed Charter Cable Broadband is probably your best bet . The only problem is I've heard they tend to be down a lot. I have DSL from McCloud but it is pretty slow and I have problems with streaming video. I believe ER only other option is Northstar Acess which comes in through the fiber optic installed a few years ago. I'm not sure what their speeds are like though. Why are you dropping Century Link?

I have Charter with 30/4Mbps plan. Speed is consistent and I'd rate the service as pretty stable over all.

I have comcast currently. Not sure if it's available in your area. All I can say about it is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!

I have charter and we seem to lose service probably 2 or 3 times a month. It's usually for only a few hours at a time, but its still an inconvenience

I have Century Link. Although it is DSL, I have the 20 Mbps down and 5 Mbps up. It is very reliable and I have never had a problem.

I was curious why you want out?

I live in Otsego, and I have had Windstream for a few years now. No problems whatsoever with speed or losing service. Pretty decent prices too.

Ranger I see windstream has a very good initial price. What does the price go up to after the 1st year? What speed does your internet come in at. I would consider leaving my provider if the price after the initial price isn't to bad. I'm looking @ the 12mbps package currently I am suppose to have 3 but only run @ 1 consistently and have problems with streaming video.

According to the HSOforum, the price goes up by $13 after a year. I cant tell you what speed I have, it's been a while since I started with them, and I'm not the most computer savvy person around! Ha. I pay $39.95 every month, and it has never increased.

Do you have the phone bundled with it? You can go to speedtest.com to see what your speeds are at. Do you have any issues with watching video through the internet?

No phone, just internet. No problems at all watching videos either.
