Trigger Job

Took apart my single action revolver yesterday to check out the trigger. I had measured the trigger pull at 8lbs, which is insane, and was making me pull my shots horribly depending on which hand i was holding it in. I found a horrbly machined sear inside, so I honed it flat with a stone careful to keep the same angles, and reassembled the gun. Trigger pull dropped to all the way to 1.5lbs which is very light. Now I only have a slight bit of creep to deal with. Test shot the pistol and wow is it more accurate for me now.

Was this a new/newer pistol?

Yes, it was a 6 month old pietta made single action with the big C name put on it.
