I knew I would need to replace the floor when I bought this boat at some point down the road...the stringers looked good from what I saw. I started tearing into a soft spot on the floor and noticed one of the stringers is rotted out in about a 3' section.

Do I need to replace the whole thing or can I cut out the rot, replace the wood and re-glass/resin/epoxy that section?
