The muskie fishing in the North West Angle of Lake of the Woods has been very good lately. The muskies are now in their summer ranges and hitting a variety of lures. Rock/reed combinations have been the best areas to raise multiple fish. Big Game twitch baits in natural colors have been a trigger for the larger fish as well as smaller Mepps bucktails. The double 10 bucktails have come off of a slow start, but some fish are being caught. Water temperatures are in the low to mid 70's, so be sure to get out there before they reach the 80 degree mark! We'll check back and post photos of fish caught by guests soon!
