paint came off

I have a bucktail(i dont recall the name). it has the two colorado blades, one silver and the other was bright red. I caught a muskie on it and it took all the orange paint off the one blade. Is there any paint i can get that will stay on and look good. i tried some of my paint and it didnt stay attached to the blade. any suggestions are helpful

This is just a guess. Primer and then automotive spray paint?

I know Cabelas sells lure paint. You might also be able to find some at Gander Mountain.
