Question for some of you?

I just bought 2 boat motors both old johnsons one is a 1941 2.5 horse with the box and the second is a 1949 5 horse with the box? The boxes are in ruff shape but still together. Just wondering what these may be worth about? Shape is good both run.

I'd guess a bit less. Maybe $150-$175 each. I had a 47ish 15hp that I had running great, and gave it to a friend cause I could not get $225 for it. I even paid to have it serviced by a guy who really knows these motors. He figured it at about $200-$250 but no dice in my experience. But I didn't try too hard. One c-L ad and that was it.
