LOWRANCE 522 AND HUMMINDBIRD 798CSI

I AM EXPERIANCING SOME INTERFERANCE WITH THESE TWO UNITS THE LOWRANCE DEPTH READOUT BOUNCES AROUND ALOT AND NEVER REALLY SEEMS TO READ RIGHT.

ANY IDEAS TRANSDUCERS ARE ABOUT 24" APART ONE MINUTE IT WILL BE 20 FOW AND THE NEXT SECOND 300 FEET

try going into the menu on the bird and turn the sonar frequency to just the 83kzh setting and then run the lowrance at the same time to see if it clears up. if not try adjusting sensitivity and the ping speed on both units. another thing to check would be if the interference is coming from something like radio feedback.
