I have a icehouse camper, I put 10" pvc fro the floor to the ice about 2'. Now wen i need an extension on LOW, I sometimes need two. so that puts my auger roughly atabout 7ft. Now try an pull that up an out of a hole an into the next one, not fun an drilling holes an placing camper over them is usually not an option cause i usually leave it in one spot for a few weeks then on to the next. But this last year I heniated a disk in my lower back because of the twisting an contorting trying to fenagle the auger to do its job. Now It would be great if there was some kinda quick coupler system from power head to flighting that I can release an attatch rather quickly an simply. Drill a hole, remove head go to other hole attach head... ect.. any Ideas? Thanks boar

i would go to a welding fabrication shop and have one extension made that is long enough to get the job done. have them drill holes every 4-6" apart and make it adjustable. something like a tent pole adjustment would be nice

Yeah, one pipe that fits inside the other with several holes, like 3pronghook was saying would work well. But make sure you've got some kind of tether for the auger so that you don't donate it to the lake. That'll wreck your day in a real quick hurry.
