Boy vs. Butterfly

Recommended Posts

My son has autism, so to watch him have this exchange with the butterfly was pretty cool to watch. The butterfly was not a normal event in this environment and routine, so it was unique to watch him explore the butterfly. Whenever the butterfly flew away, he would jump back and scream, but then go right back to it. One occasion, he got close enough to just barley touch it, and the butterfly flew up, making Eli fly backwards. He really liked it when the butterfly landed on his leg for a brief moment.

I think the butterfly had more fun than Eli did.
