Perfect Timing!!!

So I went out for a few hours crappie fishing this afternoon, didn't get into any fish but had a nice afternoon on the lake. Got home tonight and was backing my boat into the driveway, which I've done the same many many times. On the way in my motor caught the concrete somehow and broke the housing around the mount onto the transom. I didn't even feel it or hear it but my friend saw it happen with his headlights behind me and said it was pretty quick. I can't figure or explain why it happened this time as I didn't have my motor sitting any different than I always have and just some bad luck. Hope it can be fixed withing the next couple weeks for a decent price on used parts. Perfect timing before this weekend.....

Maybe your motor was just a hair lower then the last 100th time and maybe your trailer tires were flat just a bit. Maybe right?

Yes maybe. Maybe a number of variables were involved. I got it to my motor mechanic yesterday and he assured me it would be under $200 for a new swivel bracket, full fluid change, new seals, pressure test and idle switch. What a deal, I'm just glad I had someone see me do it or I may have not noticed until I got onto the lake and had the motor fall off the boat.....
