Anyone have any info on early season Muskies on Deer Lake??

Deer lake in Polk or in Oneida County?

Deer lake is full of Muskies. I'd start with the two prominent points you get to from the landing and then thouroughly work over the Large weed flats. The big flat at the southern end of the lake is also very good. We always saw a lot more than we caught but always had a blast. There are some real nice bass in there to. Have Fun

Or most likely, being that this is a Fishing MN site, is it the Deer Lake near Grand Rapids?

I've never fished Deer by Grand Rapids. But from what I've heard, there's some big fish in there, but it can be tough. Crystal clear water and very deep.

Good Call. I guess my brain must have been taking a nap when I read the post. Both Deer lakes in WI produce good muskies, how is the one by Grand Rapids? Is it more of a numbers lake?
