I just got a 2005 165 cs navigator and it has a 12volt 50lb minnekota on it. it has two batteries hooked in parallel. Is this going to be big enough to handle a boat this size. my old boat had a 55lb and was much smaller. was thinking of moving up to a 70lb 24volt, but am going to have to wait for the $$ haha thanks

Should be fine. Kind of depends what you're doing with it as far as fishing in current, trying to pull cranks with it, etc...

I'm running a 2008 165 navigator with my old 50lb minnkota. It works fine but struggles in moderate winds. I'll upgrade some day but this thing does most of what I need it to do.
